The main character of the cartoon is, of course, the famous epic hero Dobrynya Nikitich. He has many exploits to his credit. He saved the Principality of Kiev from the invasion of enemies more than once. So the last time he easily defeated the Tugar army. And when he went to collect tribute from the defeated, a new trouble happened in the kingdom. The evil Serpent Gorynych attacked the tsar's prison and abducted the tsar's only niece, Zabava Putyatichna. Dobrynya Nikitich is in a hurry to set off on a journey to find the villain and save the beauty. But interestingly, the prince himself does not seem to be very worried about the loss of a relative. He loads bogatyr with other tasks, all the while distracting him from the main task.<br />

But Dobrynya Nikitich himself still decides to act against the will of the sovereign. He equips his horse and goes in search of the Snake Gorynych. Along with him goes the young prince Elisey, who is secretly in love with Fun. Our heroes will encounter many dangers along the way.
